Homemade Wine
- Wine entered for competition in the amateur wine department must be home produced under Regulations of Part 540 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
- Only one entry (on bottle) per category.
- All wines will be evaluated by knowledgeable judges; therefore, pre-registration is required by July 1.
- Judging will be done on color, bouquet, taste, and clarity.
- Wine may be from any year's grapes. All bottles must be labeled with the year. The wine will not be returned to the exhibitor, and may not, therefore, be entered in a subsequent year.
- No transportation certificate of Federal Registration is required.
Class 1: White Table Wines - Dry or Semi-sweet, less than 3% sugar
